My Journey as a Designer

I started drawing buildings as a child. One day, I asked my mother what I needed to become in order to do this for a living. She said, an architect. That was it. The decision came early and never changed. In 2019, in Istanbul, that path became official with a degree in Architecture and Design, earned with high honors.

What began as curiosity grew into something deeper. Design became the lens through which I understand the world. It doesn’t feel like work to me. I feel genuinely lucky to do this every day.

But passion alone isn’t enough. I refuse to become invisible in a profession that often settles into repetition. I’m here to challenge it, to introduce new ideas and new tools, and to push architecture toward where it should be. This field needs change. I believe in that deeply, and I intend to be part of it.

The Art of Capturing an Idea

Every project begins long before a line is drawn. It starts with listening, reading between words, observing context, sensing what a place and its people truly need. An idea is often fragile at first, abstract and undefined. The role of design is to give it form without losing its essence. Through exploration, dialogue, and refinement, that initial spark becomes a clear direction, then a tangible space. This process is less about imposing a style and more about translating intention into reality, capturing what is felt, imagined, and needed, and shaping it into something that can be lived in.

A Global Perspective, A Personal Touch

Living and working across cultures shaped how I design. From Istanbul to the Middle East and Europe, every place taught me something about people, habits, and expectations. Context is never abstract, it is human.

Aiem reflects this. Each project carries a global awareness, but it is always grounded in the specific. I don’t believe in universal answers. What works in Ankara is not what works in Barcelona or Dubai. Architecture must belong to where it stands and to those who use it.

At the same time, every project remains personal to me. I stay close to the process and genuinely care about where it ends up. The people I work with aren’t “clients” in a corporate sense, they’re collaborators in shaping something meaningful.

Why Work With Me?

Because ideas matter. Because I treat your project as something that matters.

I don’t sell templates. I don’t design only to impress. I work to solve real problems and to create spaces that make sense financially, technically, and emotionally. I understand construction. I understand constraints. I respect time, budgets, and reality.

Working with me means having someone who thinks with you, challenges you when needed, and stays committed from concept to execution. Someone who is invested not just in how things look, but in how they work and how they endure.

If you believe design should have purpose, not noise, then we will work well together.
